Protecting your privacy

More on your privacy

Your privacy is a top priority. The survey is managed independently by Ipsos, a research company, and all responses are confidential and de-identified before being shared with the Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS). No one in your agency or the NTPS can see your individual responses or access raw survey data.

Strict business rules are in place to ensure anonymity. Responses can only be reported when there are at least 10 respondents in a group. Demographic information (age, gender, NTPS classification etc) is combined with demographic data from all other respondents in your work group/division/agency, and this information is reported separately from the responses to the survey questions. Demographic data is only included in the larger reports: for the whole NTPS, for agency-wide reports and for teams with more than 30 respondents.

Survey data is securely stored by Ipsos in line with Northern Territory Government ICT and privacy requirements. When Ipsos’ contract ends, the data remains protected and will be securely transferred to the next provider for continuity and comparison over time. Ipsos is legally bound to uphold all Northern Territory privacy laws and principles, so you can be confident your feedback is safe, secure, and anonymous.
