Importance for the whole of sector

A key strength of the survey is that all Northern Territory Public Sector (NTPS) agencies are asked the same set of questions. This allows for meaningful comparisons between similar agencies, helping identify strong performance and highlight where great practices are happening.

At a whole-of-sector level, the results give us a clearer picture of the overall employee experience across the NTPS. This helps us work toward greater consistency in workplaces, no matter which agency someone works in.

The data also supports the development of policies that enhance the employee experience right across the NTPS.

Nationally, some survey results allow us to compare with other states and territories, showing how the NTPS measures up in areas like employee engagement and satisfaction.
